Client settings: appearance, import and manual mode

Three kinds of setting

Game values come from PUBG's saved configuration, app commands are configured in the client, and geometric calibration depends on your screen. Automatic import does not mean the client can infer every unusual UI layout. Check profiles, HUD placement and appearance separately.

Opening settings is not saving them

Apply changes in PUBG before checking import and repeating the test. Until saved, the config can retain old values. Do not compensate by increasing strength. Enter only the settings unavailable for import rather than overriding everything.

Changing settings safely

  1. Save a new PUBG setting, then check its value in the client.
  2. If import is unavailable, enter values manually and compare them with the game, including Hold/Toggle.
  3. When it detects a sensitivity mismatch, the client recalculates and reports it through notifications.
  4. After changing resolution or scaling, separately recalibrate recognition, auto-loot and the map.
  5. Choose theme, language and accent through Appearance; these must not change game bindings.

Why not change everything at once

Resolution, sensitivity, stance, optics and attachments cause different deviations. Change one parameter at a time and test in Training. Save a working version before resetting or importing someone else's profile. Do not copy settings folders from unknown archives.

If import shows nothing

Check that PUBG has saved settings at least once for the current Windows user. Do not broadly change game-folder permissions or disable system security. Record which rows are marked manual and send that information with the client version to support. Until resolved, use manually entered values verified against the game.
