The current PUBG URC client does not apply automatic vertical pull to the SR category. Recognition, ADS state and selected slot are checked separately.

Ammunition and hits are not profile functions

AWM uses special .300 Magnum ammunition. Recognition neither replenishes it nor decides when a shot is worth taking. URC treats AWM as SR without automatic vertical pull. If you arrived searching for no-recoil AWM, the distinction matters: detecting weapon state does not turn a bolt-action rifle into an automatic or choose an opponent.

What to check after picking up AWM

Recognise the inventory and confirm AWM rather than the previous Kar98k or M24.
Check the actual optic, sensitivity and ADS method. Separate ADS and combined Aim/ADS bindings behave differently.
Switch to your other weapon after a manual shot. Automatic-rifle compensation should belong to its slot, not apply indiscriminately to both weapons.

There is no single correct sensitivity

For a distant target, choose sensitivity that allows deliberate aim and reacquisition after camera movement. Pick it for your habits, not a dramatic preset name. Lead and elevation depend on your range judgement. Recalibrate after resolution or interface changes; increasing another weapon’s profile strength cannot repair incorrect AWM recognition.
