Kar98k: recognition, not an automatic spray

Characteristics and client behaviour

Class: SR
Ammunition: 7.62 mm
Firing mode: Single, bolt action

The current PUBG URC client does not apply automatic vertical pull to the SR category. Recognition, ADS state and selected slot are checked separately.

This setup has a different purpose

Kar98k belongs to SR. The current client does not apply automatic vertical pull to this category, so there is no long-spray strength to tune. It should recognise the rifle, follow the selected slot and avoid retaining the automatic rifle’s curve. A claim of a recoil-free Kar98 macro does not describe bolt-action behaviour.

Three checks instead of strength tuning

Open the inventory and confirm Kar98k in the correct slot with the actual fitted optic.
Check the ADS method bound in PUBG: a separate hold binding and combined Aim/ADS are different scenarios.
Fire manually, switch to an automatic rifle and return. Verify the HUD weapon and optic update, and that an empty slot does not retain an old rifle.

The hit still depends on you

Range, bullet drop, lead and shot timing belong to the player. Optic sensitivity helps with comfortable aiming; SR recognition is not automatic aiming. Recalibrate the inventory if a resolution change causes wrong detection. Test the second slot’s automatic profile through its own firing sequence, not through a single sniper shot.

Profile rows, not an equipment compatibility list

red dot, 2x, 3x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 15x

These are software catalogue rows, not a claim that every optic fits this weapon in PUBG. For integrated sights, verify the actual game and client state. URC profile numbers are calculation parameters, not measured statistics for the current patch. Disputed damage and firing-rate values are not presented as current facts here.
