M16A4: bursts need timing, not spray strength

This is not a conventional automatic rifle

M16A4 offers single fire and three-round bursts, not the conventional M416 automatic mode. An M16 macro and an automatic spray are not interchangeable concepts. Select the mode in-game and check the current client with your own trigger presses. A profile entry does not mean the application turns every button press into uninterrupted firing.

Evaluate the cadence you actually use

Fire bursts with equal pauses, then compare a measured manual rhythm with a faster one. Constantly changing intervals make it difficult to separate profile behaviour from clicking speed. With optics, verify sensitivity before increasing strength to mask an error. A burst-mode result does not validate single fire without its own test.

Distance changes the decision, not the rifle

For a more distant target, compare single shots with time to reacquire against faster bursts. It is a useful alternative to increasing cadence at any cost. Switch to the automatic rifle in your second slot and back to check the HUD distinguishes them. M16A4 settings do not choose the target, lead or timing of your next trigger press.
