Sensitivity in PUBG is the foundation the whole shooting stands on. While it jumps from scope to scope there is no stable recoil control: your hand learns one movement and the game answers with another. Let's go through what to set and in what order.
Where to start
Set mouse DPI first, then in-game sensitivity — and don't touch DPI again. A working reference for shooting is 400 or 800 DPI: they make it easier to repeat the exact same motion. Everything else is tuned inside the game.
General and ADS sensitivity
- General controls hip-fire turns — set it so a 180° turn is one comfortable hand movement.
- ADS (aiming) is what directly affects holding a burst. Too high overshoots the target, too low won't let you finish the compensation.
Scopes 2x, 3x, 4x, 6x
Every scope in PUBG has its own magnifier and its sensitivity is set separately. The main rule is consistency: the motion you use to pull down recoil on 3x should feel the same on 4x. When the values are uneven, switching scopes breaks the muscle memory you built.
How this ties into PUBG URC
Recoil compensation is calculated from your sensitivity — the app accounts for it the same way the game does and pulls the muzzle straight down, while you aim, move and decide when to fire. So the order is: set and "live with" your sensitivity first, then compensation is calculated for it. If you change sensitivity later, recalculate the profiles.
Short checklist
- Lock DPI and never change it.
- Tune general for a comfortable turn.
- Tune ADS for holding a burst at mid range.
- Keep values consistent across every scope.
- Recalculate the profile after any sensitivity change.
