Curve editor: tuning a burst shot by shot

Why use a curve
Recoil need not be equal on the first and last shot. Overall strength scales the compensation, while a curve changes its distribution through a burst. Begin with auto-calculation and use the editor only after checking recognition, ADS and sensitivity. Otherwise you may tune numbers to compensate for the wrong cause.
A good start with a drifting tail
Do not stretch the whole curve to fix its last rounds. Save the original, adjust the late section and compare long bursts with short ones. Early impacts dropping means excessive strength. A local edit preserves a good start; check the selected setup.
Workflow
- Select the weapon and optic. Save your working version before experimenting.
- Fire repeatable bursts in Training and find the section with consistent upward or downward drift.
- Adjust only that curve section in small steps. Do not mistake random sideways spread for a vertical error.
- Check a short burst, a long burst and another burst after releasing the button.
- Save the result and verify it after changing stance and detected attachments.
Reading the result
If the beginning is stable but the tail climbs, increasing the whole profile may ruin its beginning. If the first shot dips sharply, check the initial section. For inconsistent results, repeat with identical stance, optic and attachments. Compare several bursts rather than a lucky one.
Returning to a working version
If edits make firing worse, restore your saved version or the original curve using the client's available action. Recalculation and resets may change manual tuning, so save what you need first. Retest after PUBG patches; a curve is not current merely because its file still opens.
