HUD and notifications: reading client state

Two different purposes

The HUD shows current game state: detected weapon, slot, optic, stance and compensation activity. Bell notifications are for messages and settings changes. When compensation is recalculated automatically, look for a notification rather than a new line inside the HUD.

State before strength

Test slot two, crouch, prone and ADS in Training. The HUD must match the game. Tuning strength with a wrong state applies calculation to the wrong conditions. Access and recalculation notices belong in the separate bell control.

State checks

1. After opening the inventory, compare both slots. An empty slot should show no detected weapon.
2. Change slot and optic. The HUD should represent the active gun, not a previous one.
3. Test crouching, prone stance and ADS; state should match PUBG actions.
4. Open the map or inventory and switch to another window: compensation should not continue as if you were firing.
5. Open notifications and mark messages read. The button's colour and count help identify unread messages.

If an overlay gets in the way

Adjust the available overlay position and visibility options. Keep it away from the crosshair, game prompts and recognition regions. Recheck positions after changing Windows scaling. For recordings, hide nicknames and private information in your recording workflow; never publish a window containing a full key.

Reporting a state problem

Instead of only saying it does not work, record the game action, HUD state before and after, weapon, optic, client version and binding method. This distinguishes recognition errors from an incorrect hold mode or a poorly tuned profile.
