Map and mortar: distance between two points

What the app calculates
PUBG URC measures distance between selected map points. For a mortar, mark your position and the target, transfer the displayed distance to the mortar range and fire. The app does not fire for you or automatically account for every trajectory condition: point placement, position, elevation and mortar limits still matter.
411 metres: a measurement, not a guarantee
In the demo, two points measured 411 metres; the player set mortar range and fired twice. Repeat the sequence, not just the number. Direction, target position and timing remain your decisions. Remeasure a moved point; the app does not predict enemy movement.
Size and calibration
- Choose the correct map size: 8×8, 4×4, 3×3 or 2×2 km. This is map size, not the current zoom.
- Open the map with your game binding and start map calibration; the default app command is F5.
- At each requested zoom, use ALT + RMB on two grid-square corners. Use the prompt's square size: 1000 or 100 metres.
- Follow the zoom prompts. The required wheel steps depend on World Map Zoom Sensitivity, which the client reads from PUBG.
- If resolution or UI scale changed, reset the relevant calibration and repeat it.
Two shots at one distance
On a calibrated zoom, mark yourself and the target with ALT + RMB. For a direct distance, use just these two points; extra points describe a route, not a straight line. For example, if the result is 411 m, set that range within the mortar's available increment and check the impact. If you move after the first shot, measure again because the previous distance no longer describes your new position.
If the distance looks wrong
Check the map size, current zoom, calibrated square size and click accuracy. Clear points before selecting another target; the default key is F8. Do not use calibration from another resolution. Test measurement against a known grid square before a match rather than tuning the range around a lucky impact.
