Dragunov: deliberate singles instead of rushed shots

Weapon illustration, not a PUBG screenshot. Equipment shown is not a recommended game setup.

Dragunov is a semi-automatic DMR, not an automatic spray. Start with manual singles that let you see the target again between shots. Note whether the sight returns above or below the expected position. Testing at your fastest clicking pace mixes cadence, aiming and profile behaviour without revealing which part needs adjustment.

Check equipment and sensitivity first

Refresh detection after replacing SKS or SLR and verify Dragunov in the HUD. Do not carry over the old rifle’s attachment state. Choose a familiar optic, check its sensitivity and compare equal click intervals. An optic that works better at your chosen distance deserves its own check, not a global change to every DMR.

The impact starts with your aiming point

Vertical compensation does not determine damage, aiming elevation or lead. Older Dragunov balance values also cannot describe every PUBG version. Use a visible stationary target for the baseline, then assess tracking separately. Judge a DMR macro by the current client’s actual behaviour: a catalogue entry alone does not imply an automatic firing cadence.

These are software catalogue rows, not a claim that every optic fits this weapon in PUBG. For integrated sights, verify the actual game and client state. URC profile numbers are calculation parameters, not measured statistics for the current patch. Disputed damage and firing-rate values are not presented as current facts here.
