FAMAS: fast consumption and magazine choices

Characteristics and client behaviour

  • Class: AR
  • Ammunition: 5.56 mm
  • Firing mode: Single, burst, automatic

An old guide can lead you astray

Update 32.1 added magazine attachment support to FAMAS. A guide that assumes one unchangeable capacity and skips magazine detection is outdated. Check the attachment actually fitted and recognised. Your available firing sequence changes with the loadout; a profile checked over a short test has not necessarily been verified through the longer extended-magazine sequence.

Start with a short sequence

  1. The FAMAS fires quickly, leaving little time to judge the opening.
  2. Repeat a short red-dot hold several times before extending it.
  3. Keep automatic fire and burst mode in separate comparisons.
  4. Pauses between trigger presses change the conditions even when the weapon and optic are unchanged; tuning one sequence does not automatically validate the other.

The empty magazine is part of the test

Switch to your second slot after a normal sequence, then switch back. The HUD needs to follow the selected weapon rather than retain the last detected name. If strength suits a short sequence but not a long one, inspect the late curve. Fast firing does not remove reloads, horizontal spread or the need to stop at the right time.

Profile rows, not an equipment compatibility list

red dot, 2x, 3x, 4x, 6x

These are software catalogue rows, not a claim that every optic fits this weapon in PUBG. For integrated sights, verify the actual game and client state. URC profile numbers are calculation parameters, not measured statistics for the current patch. Disputed damage and firing-rate values are not presented as current facts here.
